Janey Mac Attire at Slobberfest Festival, May 29, 2010

Hi everyone!  Well we just finished having a great time down at the Boardwalk (Beaches) area participating in Slobberfest 2010.  You couldn't ask for more amazing summer weather and looking out at blue skies and water all day .... well ... great way to spend the day meeting wonderful dogs and their owners.  We got to see our glamour girls the wonderful Beagles, Roxy and Bella who won just about every contest they entired because they are born stars!!  I also made the sweetest friend, a little Chihuahua rescue called Charles William.  We took a shine to one another and the little demo coat I had made for my cardboard Chihuahua fit him perfectly.  I guess the coat was just waiting for us to meet.  Here are some pictures from the Festival and we are busy gearing up for Woofstock 2010.  Down in the distillery area - St. Lawrence Market, Toronto (Saturday and Sunday, June 12-13).  Please come down and drop in to say hi to us and enjoy this amazing event for all dog lovers.

Mac Bling

Hi everyone!  I guess this Spring it's all about the accessories.  We've just started our new line of bandanas and our new line of bling for the humans that love us and buy us all sorts of stuff.  It's a line of necklaces and bracelets that are made with memory wire.  Memory wire bends and stays to the person's neck or wrist size without needing to be clasped.  Of course this is good too when it looks just as pretty on the outside of a dog collar but I don't think the humans will want to part with them.  If they do they have to remember that it's jewellery and therefore not edible and not left on us unattended by accident.  Although there are no clasps we shouldn't wrestle or do acrobatics while wearing a necklace.  Kind of like doing gymnastics in high heels.  Not a good idea.  Okay saying that we decided after much enthusiastic "bugging" to buy what I'm wearing to create more bracelets and necklaces for all those that asked at recent shows "is that for sale" - I'd love a bracelet like that .... well now they are!!  The bling ranges from $5.00 to $30.00 for some of the sets. 

Introducing the Mac-Bans (Bandanas) from Janey Mac Attire

Hi everyone, spring time has been full of new ideas.  Safety reflective vests (light weight for warm weather and fleece lined denim for the cooler weather). Check out the hip Beagle girls named Roxy and Bella sporting the new line of one-of-a-kind custom Bandanas.  They are the very first to have ones specially made for them. 


Currently I am working on some rain coats for the warmer weather and in the near future will be starting a line of jersey style jackets.  Hand bags and more bling on some of the funkier fashions so stay tuned.
