Happy Valentine's! Who Needs a Hug ...

Happy New Year it's 2010

Hi everyone - Happy New Year to all.   Well it's been a cold season this January and I'm busy making some warm coats for some special dogs.  Janey is quite warm and toasty with her new coat this season.  As you can see she is quite a big girl who can quietly blend in with her surroundings except for those glowing eyes!  Check out our Celtic, Mac Fly, Rain and Brr it's cold sections for some new coats.

Mac Hoodie

Hi everyone, the holiday season is in full swing and Janey Mac has been a wonderful hound by admiring (ONLY) the Christmas decorations and not destroying them this year.  Ahhhh the joys of adult dogs!  I've been very busy and it certainly is cold outside. 

This coat was the first time I made a giant hoodie for a giant breed dog.  It took alot of engineering and many fittings for Janey who was more than willing to help out.  She is such a good sport.  Here she is modelling the finished hoodie for a bigger dog than her.  WOW.

Neck Muffs

A fashionable way to keep the neck extra warm.  Knitted neck muffs in bright colours with jewellery and buttons for that little extra bling to make them special.  Of course Janey's scarf is going to take a bit more yarn and time considering the length of her neck.  I used velcro on some of them and the stretchier ones can slip over the head as one piece.

 

Janey Mac Ink Purses

Janey felt that I should try my hand at making a few gift bags and purses to compliment her coats.  She thinks I should also work on tee-shirts as well.  Okay, I guess we'll give it a try.   Here are the first gift bags. 

Janey Mac Ink and Fly

I am busy working on some "ink" style jackets for those trendy canines. I am also working on faux leather "fly" jackets and have brought back the Ultimate Canine style coat for winter. Janey has been busy outgrowing her coats from last season so I guess she's overdue for a new winter coat. She's a good sport to try on coats that she can't keep. I'm sure she'll be happy when she can go out for a walk in the coat. Then she'll know it's hers.
