Mac Bling

Hi everyone!  I guess this Spring it's all about the accessories.  We've just started our new line of bandanas and our new line of bling for the humans that love us and buy us all sorts of stuff.  It's a line of necklaces and bracelets that are made with memory wire.  Memory wire bends and stays to the person's neck or wrist size without needing to be clasped.  Of course this is good too when it looks just as pretty on the outside of a dog collar but I don't think the humans will want to part with them.  If they do they have to remember that it's jewellery and therefore not edible and not left on us unattended by accident.  Although there are no clasps we shouldn't wrestle or do acrobatics while wearing a necklace.  Kind of like doing gymnastics in high heels.  Not a good idea.  Okay saying that we decided after much enthusiastic "bugging" to buy what I'm wearing to create more bracelets and necklaces for all those that asked at recent shows "is that for sale" - I'd love a bracelet like that .... well now they are!!  The bling ranges from $5.00 to $30.00 for some of the sets. 

Introducing the Mac-Bans (Bandanas) from Janey Mac Attire

Hi everyone, spring time has been full of new ideas.  Safety reflective vests (light weight for warm weather and fleece lined denim for the cooler weather). Check out the hip Beagle girls named Roxy and Bella sporting the new line of one-of-a-kind custom Bandanas.  They are the very first to have ones specially made for them. 


Currently I am working on some rain coats for the warmer weather and in the near future will be starting a line of jersey style jackets.  Hand bags and more bling on some of the funkier fashions so stay tuned.

The Janey Mac 2010 Spring Collection

To make it easy I've decided to put all the new coats in this section for Spring 2010.  I have dreamed up some great ideas in my head that I'm excited to work on.   Both Janey Mac and Ulysses are happy to fall asleep to the sounds of my sewing machine whirling away and the chaos and mess that surrounds the creative process.  I can't begin to tell you how many times I look down and find Uly covered with loose bits of string and bits of fabric covering him while he naps at my feet.  Once in a while Janey will get up and come personally over to inspect my progress always giving me encouragement I need and the take a break and pat me because it's good for the both of us. 

I hope you enjoy the beginnings of Janey Mac's Spring Collection as much as I am enjoying all the wonderful and colourful fabrics and paints I am currently working with.  This season it's about keeping dry.  It's about urban cool and epic tales like Lord of the Rings.  Check out our thank you gallery and you will see.
